This unique décor piece is crafted from vintage seed dispensers, known as "bijani" in India, traditionally used by farmers to sow seeds. Each bijani, handmade and carved from solid wood, features holes for seed distribution and showcases intricate details. Since each piece is made from vintage bijani, slight variations in carving, cracks, and holes may occur, adding to its unique charm, while the overall aesthetic remains consistent. By joining three bijanis together and finishing them in a distressed whitewash, we enhance their beauty and preserve the vintage look, allowing each piece to tell the rich stories of Indian farmers and narrate a beautiful tale of Indian culture.
